Who we are

BixGrow is an affiliate and referral marketing application for Shopify merchants (the “Service”). The Service is owned and operated by:

In this Policy, “BixGrow”, “AZIDY”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to AZIDY PTE. LTD. AZIDY PTE. LTD is the data controller for the personal data described in the “Personal data we control” section below.

Scope of this Policy: our two roles

We handle personal data in two different roles, and it is important to know which one applies to you.

1. Where we act as a data controller. This Policy applies to personal data for which we determine the purposes and means of processing. This includes data about merchants who install BixGrow, visitors to our websites, people who contact us or subscribe to our communications, and affiliates who create their own account on the BixGrow Marketplace.

2. Where we act as a data processor. When a merchant uses BixGrow to run an affiliate or referral program, we process personal data about that merchant’s customers, affiliates and advocates on the merchant’s behalf and on the merchant’s instructions. In that relationship the merchant is the data controller and we are the data processor. That processing is not governed by this Policy. It is governed by our Data Processing Agreement, available at https://bixgrow.com/dpa. If you are a customer or affiliate of a merchant that uses BixGrow and you have questions about how your data is used, please contact that merchant, who is the controller of your data.

We are committed to handling personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (“CCPA”), and the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act.

BixGrow is not intended for merchants, affiliates or website visitors under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, and we do not permit them to use the Service.

Personal data we control

Merchant account data

When you install BixGrow, we receive information from your Shopify account through Shopify’s authorized app installation process. We use this to provide the Service, verify your account, communicate with you and provide support. This includes:

your name, email address, and phone number where provided;
your company or business name;
your store URL and Shopify store identifiers;
your store’s configuration and the settings you choose within BixGrow;
your plan and subscription status.

We do not collect or store your Shopify password. Access to your store is granted through Shopify’s authorization process, and we never ask for or receive your login credentials.

We do not collect or store your payment card details or other payment credentials. All fees for BixGrow are billed through Shopify’s billing system, and your payment method is held by Shopify, not by us.

Support and communication data

When you contact us for support, or communicate with us through the Service, our website or email, we collect your name, email address, the content of your messages, and records of our correspondence with you.

Marketing and communications data

If you subscribe to our newsletter, product updates or other communications, we collect your email address for that purpose. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us.

Feedback data

If you submit reviews, ratings, survey responses or other feedback about the Service, we collect the information you choose to provide.

BixGrow Marketplace account data

The BixGrow Marketplace (marketplace.bixgrow.com) allows affiliates and creators to register their own account directly with us, independently of any merchant. Where you create such an account, we act as the data controller for that account and collect:

your name, email address, and contact details;
your affiliate profile, including information you choose to publish about your audience, channels, niche and preferences;
your account activity within the Marketplace.

We use this data to operate the Marketplace, match you with merchant programs that may be relevant to you, and, where you have agreed to receive them, send you communications about new programs and opportunities. Where you also participate in a specific merchant’s affiliate program, the merchant is the controller of the data generated within that program, as described above.

Website visitor data

When you visit bixgrow.com, marketplace.bixgrow.com, docs.bixgrow.com or our other websites, we collect your IP address, browser and device information, time zone, referring page, pages viewed and interactions with our site, together with cookies and similar technologies stored on your device.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Some personal data is necessary for us to provide the Service and manage your account. If you do not provide information that is required for these purposes, we may be unable to provide certain features or services.

Who we share personal data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the following circumstances.

Service providers

We use service providers to help us operate the Service. These providers process personal data on our instructions and are bound by contractual obligations no less protective than those we undertake in this Policy. Some providers may also process limited technical data as independent controllers for their own service operation and security purposes, under their own privacy terms:

Shopify

BixGrow operates on the Shopify platform. Your use of Shopify, including billing for the Service, is governed by Shopify’s own terms and privacy policy.

Other disclosures

We may also disclose personal data:

where required by law, or in response to a valid request from a court, regulator, or government authority;
where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to investigate suspected fraud, abuse or breaches of our Terms;
to professional advisers such as lawyers and auditors, bound by confidentiality; and
in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, provided the receiving entity agrees to handle personal data in accordance with this Policy.

International transfers

We are based in Singapore, our hosting infrastructure is located in the United States, and members of our team are located in Vietnam. Personal data we collect may therefore be transferred to and processed in Singapore, the United States and Vietnam, as well as in other countries where our service providers operate.

Where we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland to a country that has not been recognized as providing an adequate level of protection, we rely on an appropriate safeguard, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.

Merchant account data is retained for as long as you use the Service. Following uninstallation, data associated with your store is deleted through Shopify’s app data deletion process within 30 days, subject to the exceptions below.
Marketplace account data is retained for as long as your Marketplace account remains active, and deleted following account closure.
Support and correspondence records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request and for a limited period afterwards.
Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
Website visitor data is retained for a limited period consistent with our cookie settings and analytics needs.

We may retain personal data for longer where required to comply with a legal obligation, to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or for legitimate security and fraud-prevention purposes. Data may also remain temporarily in secure backup systems after deletion from active systems, and is deleted or overwritten in accordance with our backup retention procedures.

Retention and deletion of personal data that we process on behalf of merchants is governed by our Data Processing Agreement.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

request access to the personal data we hold about you;
request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
request erasure of your data;
request restriction of processing;
object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests, on grounds relating to your particular situation;
receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and have it transmitted to another controller, where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means;
withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent; and
not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling.

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and in any event within 30 days where the GDPR applies. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

Requesting deletion

To request deletion of your personal data, email [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”, including the Shopify store URL or Marketplace account the data relates to. We will confirm and complete your request within 30 days.

When a merchant uninstalls BixGrow, Shopify notifies us through its mandatory app data deletion process, and we delete the data associated with that store within 30 days.

If you are a customer or affiliate of a merchant using BixGrow and wish to exercise your rights in relation to that merchant’s program, please contact the merchant directly, as they are the controller of that data. We will assist the merchant in responding to your request as set out in our Data Processing Agreement.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request deletion or correction of your personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.

We do not sell or share your personal information, as those terms are defined under the CCPA, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted under the CCPA.

Where we process personal information on behalf of a merchant, we act as that merchant’s service provider, as set out in our Data Processing Agreement.

Cookies

Cookies on our websites. We use cookies and similar technologies on bixgrow.com and our related websites. Essential cookies are necessary for these sites to operate. Where non-essential cookies are used, we rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time through your browser settings or our cookie controls.

Referral and affiliate tracking in merchant stores. When you visit a store that uses BixGrow, cookies and similar technologies may be used to attribute referrals and track affiliate activity. This tracking is carried out on behalf of the merchant, who is the controller of that data and is responsible for obtaining any consent required under applicable law. Please refer to that merchant’s own privacy and cookie notices.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the European Economic Area, this is the supervisory authority in the country where you live, work, or where the alleged infringement took place. In the United Kingdom, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office. In Singapore, this is the Personal Data Protection Commission.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version of this Policy is always available at https://bixgrow.com/privacy-policy/, and we update the date at the top of this Policy when we make changes. Where we make a material change, we will provide notice through the Service or by email to the address associated with your account.
